How much does a complete water softener cost installed? +
Our Complete Home System (whole-home softener + carbon filter) starts at with free professional installation. Compare that to Culligan (Custom-quoted) or Kinetico (Custom-quoted) for the same-spec system. Financing available as low as monthly with down.
What's included in the price? +
Everything. The system, all materials, professional installation by a licensed plumber, all permits if required, system startup, customer training, and our lifetime warranty. No surprise add-on fees.
How long does installation take? +
Most installs are completed in 3-4 hours. Our licensed plumbers arrive on time, lay drop cloths, complete the work cleanly, walk you through the system, and clean up. You'll have soft water by dinner.
Do I need a water softener if my city already treats the water? +
Yes. City water treatment removes pathogens — it does NOT remove hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) or chlorine. Many cities test as high as 472 PPM (extremely hard water). Your municipal water supply is exactly what's destroying your appliances and drying out your skin.

What does the lifetime warranty actually cover? +
All system parts and pieces. The tank, valve, internal components, and housings are warrantied for the lifetime of the system. The media bed (resin) is warrantied for 5 years. Labor for warranty service is covered for life — no trip charges, no service fees.
Do you offer financing? +
Yes — through Wisetack and Service Finance. Approval takes 60 seconds with a soft credit pull (no impact to credit score). Plans start at down, monthly for the Complete Home System. 0% APR options available for qualified buyers.
Will the softener affect my water pressure? +
No. Our systems are sized for whole-home flow rates of 12-15 GPM, more than enough for a 4-bathroom home running multiple fixtures simultaneously. You won't notice any pressure drop.
How often do I need to add salt? +
An average 4-person household uses about 1 bag (40 lbs) of salt per person per month. We offer monthly salt delivery for monthly — includes 4 bags delivered, free annual system tune-up, and priority service. Or buy salt at any hardware store.
Can the system be installed outside? In the garage? +
Both. Most installs go in the garage. Outdoor installs are also common — we use UV-resistant tank jackets for sun exposure protection. Our installer will recommend the best location based on your plumbing layout.
What if I'm renting? Can the softener move with me? +
Yes. Our systems are designed for clean uninstall and reinstall. We charge a flat to uninstall and reinstall at your new home (within our service area).
Are your systems NSF certified? +
Yes. All resin, carbon, and components are NSF/ANSI 44, 53, 58, and 61 certified for safety and performance. Every system ships with a full quality control documentation packet.
Do you service multiple cities? +
Yes. We currently serve the Austin metro (Austin, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Hutto, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville) and Miami-Dade County (Miami, Hialeah, and surrounding areas). New service areas added regularly.
Can I install a salt-based softener on a septic system? +
Technically yes — but we strongly recommend our Salt-Free Conditioner instead. Salt brine discharge from regenerating softeners gradually kills the bacteria in your septic drain field, shortening septic system life by 5-10 years and risking expensive drain field replacement (Custom-quoted). The Salt-Free Conditioner solves hardness using Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) — no salt, no brine, completely septic-safe.
Does my city restrict salt-based water softeners? +
Most of our service area allows salt-based softeners with no restrictions, including Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Hutto, Miami, Miami-Dade, and Hialeah. Some Texas cities (notably the San Antonio metro) restrict brine discharge to manage chloride levels in wastewater. If you're outside our current service area, check with your local water authority before installing — and consider our Salt-Free Conditioner, which produces zero brine and complies with all known chloride discharge limits in the United States.
Are your softeners high-efficiency? +
Yes. Every softener we install is demand-initiated (regenerates only when needed, not on a fixed timer), uses NSF/WQA-certified resin, and exceeds 4,000 grains-of-hardness-removed per pound of salt. These are the same efficiency standards mandated by California Health & Safety Code §116785 — the strictest water softener efficiency law in the United States. We don't sell timer-based or low-efficiency systems even though they're legal in Texas and Florida — they waste salt, waste water, and add unnecessary chloride to wastewater.
What happens if my system breaks down years from now? +
Call us. Our lifetime labor warranty means we come fix it at no cost. Most issues are quick part swaps that take 30 minutes or less. We carry replacement parts in our service vehicles for fastest possible turnaround.
